Al Bingham

Al is a senior loan officer at Momentum Loans and has been in the mortgage industry since 1991. Al’s has extensive insight and knowledge about residential lending and the FICO credit score. He has received multiple awards through the years for his loan production. As part of his effort to help his clients, Al has extensively researched the FICO® credit score starting in 2003 and is widely recognized nationwide for his valued insight. From his research, he has published two editions of the book, The Road to 850, outlining the FICO® scoring system. This has helped thousands of consumers improve their purchasing power, save money and purchase their home.

Al has had the opportunity to provide commentary in over 200 news stories throughout the country for many national media outlets including CNBC, US News and World Report, Fortune Magazine, KUTV along with a host of other national and regional media. He is considered a national-recognized credit expert and credit score analyst for several legal cases.

Al has also worked on the SAFE Mortgage exam committee and the State of Utah’s financial literacy program – the only state to receive an A+ by the Center for Financial Literacy at Chaplain College.
